Description:

This is a gentle massage based on Dr. Young’s Aromatherapy with the Vita Flex, Reflexology, Massage and Hot Stone in application of 9 Essential Oils. The technique involves dropping 9 essential therapeutic oils, like raindrops, down the spine.  We then use special light techniques to massage the oils into the body. This is following by the use of Hot Stones to penetrate the oils and help with absorption of these high grades scented oils into the body.  Plan on spending 1½ hours for this luxurious therapeutic treatment on a day when you can rest and drink water after this is powerful treatment.

This is especially beneficial for any type of back problems. It is a great compliment to chiropractic adjustments, helping to soften all the muscles surrounding the spine and back as well as helping the bodies electrical and energy alignment, allowing the back to align easily.  
The oils used in this treatment are specific oils to help boost immunity and bring balance to the body. Oils like thyme and oregano are antiseptics which kill bacteria and supply energy during stress and weakness. Cypress is used to heal damaged tissue and relieve spasm and swelling.  Peppermint is pain-killing and cooling to inflamed tissue. Marjoram relieves spasms, cramping, and migraine headaches. A total of 9 such oils are applied on the back and reflexes on the feet and followed with Hot Stones to penetrate the oils into the body system

Contraindications:  Sunburn on the back, pregnancy, known environmental allergies especially to flowers. If there are problems with heat, this could be done without stones.  Speak to your therapist about any conditions you may have.
